Tulare County Animal Services has put together this packet with information and resources for people who are looking to surrender their pet. Included in the packet are ideas and resources that may help you either keep your pet or help you re-home them without having to bring them to the shelter. If, after reading the attached packet, you still need to surrender your pet, please fill out the attached Owner Surrender Request Form, Dog Behavior Profile Form and attach a photo of your animal(s). Animal Services will look over your information and respond back to you.
Note: Tulare County Animal Servicesonly handles animals in the unincorporated areas of Tulare County. If you live inside one of the incorporated cities (Dinuba, Exeter, Farmersville, Lindsay, Porterville, Tulare, Visalia, or Woodlake)please contact your local animal control agency instead of filling out these forms.
